Pride of La Salle competes at BOA Louisville!
The Pride of La Salle band made their first big road trip this past weekend to compete in the Bands of America Louisville Regional. The members had a solid run which earned them 2nd place in their class.
It was a beautiful afternoon for watching bands and the many new members were very impressed with the quality of competition. The band would like to wish their congratulations to all the finalists at the regional – you were fantastically entertaining!
Our next competition will be on October 6th at La Salle high school where will perform in exhibition. Hope to see you there!!
La Salle wins AA class at first competition
Pride of La Salle Marching Band came in 1st among AA bands and 5th overall among 18 bands – including some much larger – at the 7th Annual Falcon Force Band Competition at Bishop Fenwick High School Saturday.
Besides winning the first place trophy in their class, the band also won Best Music, Best Visual, Best General Effect and Best Auxiliary (guard).
This is a Mid-States Band Association event and a great start to band competition season for a band of relatively young students.
